Fees and Payment Information
A free 30-minute introductory session (by phone or videoconference) is an opportunity for you to learn more about the mediation process and whether the Nine Dots approach is right for you. A two-hour mediation session is $400. All hours after two hours are billed at $200.00 per hour and divided equally by the parties. A half day is a four-hour mediation session. All hours after four hours are billed at $200.00 per hour and divided equally by the parties. A full day is an eight-hour mediation session. All hours after eight hours are billed at $200.00 per hour and divided equally by the parties.FREE 30 MINUTE CONSULTATION

*The mediation fee is typically shared equally by all parties. It is also acceptable for one party to advance or pay the mediation fee on behalf of another party. Each party is responsible for the timely payment of all fees. The mediator reserves the right to refuse to commence the mediation session if all fees have not been paid.
Cancellation Policy
Once scheduled, cancellation of mediation notice must be received by Nine Dots Mediation, by phone or email, no less than five days before the date of the mediation. Failure to comply with the cancellation policy will result in a per-party cancellation fee of 50 percent of the party’s full mediation fee. If one party arbitrarily cancels the mediation less than 5 days before the date of the mediation without the agreement of the other party, the cancellation fee of 50 percent per party will be assessed against that party. This means that a party canceling mediation arbitrarily will be responsible to pay both sides’ 50 percent cancellation fee.
